Knitting

Cindy started knitting when she was in preschool and most days, during recess, could be found sitting on the playground knitting. The very first thing she can remember knitting was coat hanger covers. From there she moved on to jumpers (sweaters) and such. Children's clothes, when her children were little, were always a favourite. She entered an Interweave contest for Children's Wear. She did not win but she did have her garment published in their book: "Kids, Kids, Kids".

She also had a knitting tip published in Stitch 'N Bitch Nation by ?

When it comes to designing, Cindy likes to use the Knitting Software programmes, Sweater Wizard and Sock Wizard.

With all the travel Cindy now does between Australia, Hong Kong and USA, the most convenient thing to knit is socks, something with which she has become very proficient doing. Sometimes she even dyes her own yarn to make her creations.
